{"id":32,"date":"2009-09-01T22:53:35","date_gmt":"2009-09-02T03:53:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/devel.zabludovsky.info\/?p=32"},"modified":"2026-04-25T17:17:39","modified_gmt":"2026-04-25T23:17:39","slug":"alinka","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alinka.zabludovsky.info\/index.php\/2009\/09\/01\/alinka\/","title":{"rendered":"Alinka"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Dear Gina,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Renee told me that you were collecting memories that people had of your mother, and there is one interesting one that oddly enough always makes me remember her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When I was young your mother would take us to the grocery store \u2013 do you remember, the one that was up the street from your house? She would always buy us Gansitos, which was at that time (and still is) my favorite pastry. We would put them in the freezer, and eat them cold. To this day, whenever I see them at the grocery store I remember that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Later in life, when I would visit Mexico, she would take me to your Father\u2019s latest projects. The two I remember best were the Mexico City Library, and the National Auditorium \u2013 which was still under construction. In fact, the last time I was in the Auditorium was with her \u2013 and I have never actually&nbsp;seen the finished work inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I always enjoyed seeing her.
