Dear Gina,

For quite some time I have been trying to recall an outstanding anecdote about my relationship with your mother.   Unfortunately my memory has diminished thru the years. What I do remember is her always positive and quiet attitude under all circumstances.  

Her hospitality and friendliness, mainly towards Dan and Renee when we came to Mexico (which was every Summer) was endearing.  Of all my relatives, she was the one I most admired and cared for. Notwithstanding the fact that  I saw so little of her, whenever we got together it was always rewarding.  Her passing away was a shock and a loss which has taken some time to absorb.  I am sure your project to honor her memory will be as outstanding as her life was.
